How it works:
AMP’s 3D media player creates a stereoscopic image (two images displayed at once) that work in tandem with a 3D capable television and specially designed glasses to create images that appear to be coming out of the screen and into your living room.

FAQs
Do I need special glasses?
Yes, the glasses are needed to combine the two images into one.
They are comfortable and can fit over prescription eyeglasses if needed. Plus, Xpand is not a cheaply made product, we selected them because we wanted our users to be assured of quality. The AMP XS series media players include 1 or 2 pairs of glasses standard with each unit. Additional glasses can be purchased during checkout, or at a later time.
Are the movies in those weird colors?
Previous 3D movies were categorized as “anaglyphic”. That is, they delivered the image in two colors (usually red and green) to create a limited 3-D effect.
AMP 3D media players create a true 3D effect by delivering two separate images. The technology is called “stereoscopic 3-D”. Further, people who have never seen 3D before because they were astigmatic, near-sighted, or color blind are able to experience 3D this way.
Will it work with any TV?
No, you will need a 3D capable TV to generate a stereoscopic image.

Can any movie be made 3D?
AMP Servers are able to playback standard 2D DVDs in 3D!
The effect creates a nice depth to the image and can really breathe new life into old movies.
What 3-D Movies are coming out?
If you go to any movie theater these days you will see that there are several 3D movies already produced that will be released soon on DVD.
There are also several classic movies that are being re-mastered in 3D. The NFL has begun filming games in 3D and showing them to test audiences.
